Starting on Halloween night at 3 a.m. EST, the next part of the Derry prequel will launch on HBO Max, ahead of its linear broadcast. Taking place within Stephen King’s It universe, Welcome to Derry draws from the original story while building upon the universe brought to life by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the two It films. Set in 1962, the program presents a new generation of parents and youngsters residing in a seemingly idyllic town masking a sinister core.
