Ex- Doctor Faces Assault Allegations Against Thirty-Eight Patients
Legal authorities report that a ex- physician stands accused of committing sexual assaults against thirty-eight victims who were under his care.
Details of the Grave Allegations
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous acts of sexual assault – including acts against children younger than 13 – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.
A deputy chief prosecutor stated, “Legal teams have worked at length to assist a detailed and complex investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Police Inquiry
The charges follow what police described as a “complex investigation” into reported sexual offences at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.
