AC Shadows Unveils Bizarre AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected collaboration that breaks usual expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of prohibited rituals and fearsome changes reverberate through the darkness." The plot features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret group.
The questline concentrates on "bizarre tests and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Extra Material
Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an unique katana alongside several objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Latest Free Story Addition
This update also introduces the game's newest no-cost story content, titled "The Enigma." This humorous adventure teams Naoe and Yasuke as they swap characteristic abilities: Naoe introduces a theatrical version of Yasuke's war kick, while Yasuke masters subduing stealth takedowns. Loyal to its name, "A Puzzlement" also contains a fresh environmental puzzle that may eventually explain some unanswered questions from the main storyline.
